Gene: [06^/PSBG1L1] beta-1-glycoprotein, pregnancy specific like 1; [SP1 ]
COM |
The HUGEN catalogue remains yet the B1G1 and B1G2 genes as possible homologues of the PSBG1 gene (GEM:06^/PSBG1L1; GEM:0X^/PSBG1L2)." |
HIS |
HGM9.5 included the B1G1 and B1G2 genes, on the basis of data of Chan,Qiu-1988. These genes code for so called beta-1 glycoproteins (B1GP, pregnancy-specific), which are homologous to the gene for carcinoembryonic antigen (see COM in GEM:19q132/CEA). The B1G1 and B1G2 genes were mapped to chromosomes 6 and X, respectively; however, HGM10 reported one gene located in chromosome 19 instead of these two (GEM:19q132/PSG1), on the basis of results of Barnett-1989 and Niemann-1989." |
